New Afrobeats act, Jude Emeka Okafor otherwise known as Jiggyboy’s music aspiration just got a big boost as he marks 1 million streams milestone on international music streaming site, Audiomack.

Jiggyboy’s latest feat excludes data from other streaming platforms with equally impressive numbers. The 22 year singer is buoyed and confident he can make a big splash on the fast-growing Nigerian pop music culture which is now recognized across the world.

Speaking about his feat, he said, “hitting one million stream was a dream come through. I felt really good, accepted and motivated. I would say my single, vibes is a very unique and different sound. People always accept one when one is unique, that’s why everybody loved the song. I dare anybody who haven’t streamed vibes to do so and feel the vibes that I am bringing in.”

Although he is still basking in the euphoria of his debut single, Jiggyboy brags confidently, “If I wanted to put out two albums right now, I could do so. This is because I have more than enough songs to do that. I am a 22 years old using my head correctly. I am not signed to any label yet and that ain’t going to stop me or slow me down, I am just going to keep doing my things for the love I have for the grind. It isn’t easy but I would say an EP and an album is definitely on the cards for me.

When you hear the name JiGGyboy you know what to expect I don’t want to say much because most time, it’s always the hype and not the music so I would just say that everybody should watch out and see for them self. Thank you.”

Born on February 2nd, 1999, Jude Emeka Okafor spent his early years in Abuja although his parents hail from Abuja. He recalls, “School wasn’t really my thing right from time I was in a private polytechnic in Enugu. I made up my mind and dropped out 200 level 200 because I didn’t see a future for me there. A year after I dropped out, I moved to Lagos far away from my home and parents. That was how life as I know it now started for me. It’s been a journey for me, I’m definitely headed somewhere big.”
