MacNelly out with ‘Mmesoma’
Gospel musician, Chiamaka Nelly Ikejiofor aka MacNelly has released a new song titled ‘Mmesoma’.
‘Mmesoma’, which according to MacNelly, means the goodness of God is an emotional gospel tune that connects with the soul and reminds you of the goodness of God, how faithful he has been regardless of our sins.
The new song is now available on all streaming platforms and also enjoying massive rotation on radio and TV channels.
On what inspired ‘Mmesoma’, MacNelly said; “I was actually ministering on the altar and singing songs and then I thought of the goodness of God.
“It was on Facebook live actually where I was reminding the congregation of why they should praise God, the things people need to remember. Know where you were, where you are and where you are going to. So, while I was ministering, the song just came and I was singing and then I heard the voice say be calm, switch to another song because this is a personal song that you will release”.
Speaking on the acceptance by fans, she said: “the song is out already and the acceptance has been encouraging. People who have listened to the song have been giving testimonies. About five persons have actually testified but they didn’t tell me exactly what happened but I know that God has done something for them through Mmesoma”.
MacNelly who is also a prophet owns a gospel fellowship which goes live on social media.
“I am a gospel singer and minister, I sing and also preach because I own a fellowship online called Prayerful Family Fellowship (PFF) where we preach the word and we reach out to people through prophecy as well”, said the Emmyrherhe Entertainment signee.
The mother of three also revealed that she’s currently working on her album which would be released next year.
