New Lagos agency to revamp Nigeria’s creative, talent sector

Nigerian brand strategist Eval Joe Eka has announced the launch of Prime Influence Limited, a Lagos-based agency aimed at formalising how influence and brand partnerships are built and sustained in the country’s growing creative sector.

After over a decade working behind the scenes on national campaigns and brand activations, Eka is stepping into the spotlight with what he describes as a response to the fragmented nature of creative and influencer engagement in Nigeria.

“Influence is more than visibility,” Eka said. “It’s about structure, story, and staying power.”

Prime Influence will offer integrated services including brand strategy, talent representation, campaign execution, and experiential marketing. With teams operating in both Lagos and Abuja, the agency is positioning itself as a strategic partner for creatives, influencers, startups, and established brands alike.

The company’s service offering includes brand strategy and management, talent management, experiential marketing and event production, as well as customer engagement and campaign execution.

Eka, who has previously led execution for major consumer brands in Nigeria, says the firm is a direct response to the lack of infrastructure in the country’s booming creative scene.

“There’s no shortage of talent or ideas here,” he said. “What’s missing is the strategic architecture to take them from potential to scale.”

He added that Prime Influence is not just entering the market to compete, but to fill a structural gap — particularly for those navigating the intersection of creativity, commerce, and cultural relevance.

Early client onboarding is already underway, with the agency targeting industries including fashion, entertainment, technology, and lifestyle.

While the concept of influence has often been reduced to social media reach in the Nigerian context, Eka argues that the future lies in long-term brand building rooted in cultural insight and executional clarity.
