Real estate mogul and Benue-born philanthropist, King Mohammed Adah has announced the sponsorship of an album for Plantashun Boyz. The trio of 2face Idibia, Blackface and Faze recently reunited on the stage of the just concluded Ochacho carnival in Otukpo, Benue state.

The defunct boy band who until recently were enmeshed in controversy has obviously reconciled and their public expression of love for each other was in full display at No. 7 Ochacho Avenue, Otukpo where the epoch-making music carnival which lasted for two days happened. Blackface and Faze joined 2face on stage as they performed hits after hits of their classics to the delight of thousands of carnival goers who cheer at the rare sight of seeing the legends unite once again.
King Mohammed Adah who is the president and founder of Ochacho foundation, the sponsor of the Ochacho carnival was visibly elated as he joined the legends on stage with a mouth-watering deal that will once again see the Plantashun Boyz return with a new album in 2022.

“This morning is one of my happiest mornings, I am happy and I am proud of you guys, and for that sake, Ochacho foundation is going to sponsor an album or you guys” King Mohamed Adah’s announcement was greeted with loud ovation and cheers from the audience as the legends could be seen screaming in delight of the new and huge opportunity.

Ochacho carnival is an annual free musical fiesta created by the Oyame 1 of Idomaland, King Mohammed Adah popularly referred to as Ochacho, to celebrate his late mother as well as foster peace in Idomaland via giving the people unforgettable experiences every Christmas.

The first edition in 2020 saw Nigerian international afrobeat superstar, Davido headlining while the 2022 edition was headlined by 2face Idibia with a rich supporting cast of Dbanj, Ladipoe, Iceking Ochacho, Magnito, Nedu and many other stars.
