According to the graduate of Political Science from Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ogun State, the sound of good music was serving as a soothing relief to many citizens in the face of growing economic hardship in the country.

The musician made the remarks while unveiling her new single titled ‘Shibaraba’, which she says will further help Nigerian listeners and others around the world find solace in their inner selves.

She said, “There is a lot of economic hardship in Nigeria at the moment and among the things helping people to stay sane and mentally healthy across the country is good music.

“Shibaraba falls in this category, it is a certified groovy song that explains why we all need to enjoy life no matter the situation life throws at us.

“This is my first official single under Santabella Music Empire and I am positive that more great sounds is going to come from us that will help project Nigerian music in the right light globally.

“I believe if the Nigerian music industry is given the support it needs, it can help solve a lot of societal problems including tackling youth unemployment in the country by providing more opportunities for earning decent incomes.”

Nigerian music is at the moment rated very highly around the world and according to Honeydrop, whose latest song was produced by Tobss and mixed and mastered by Timijay, the recognition can only get better for the industry in the years ahead.
