Fast-rising filmmaker, Ekwe Uchenna, professionally known as Fizzyfrosh, has called for the introduction of content creation for social media into the Nigerian education syllabus.

Fizzyfrosh explained that the soft-skill is currently one of the major income-earning streams for Nigerian youths, hence the need for it to be taken more seriously.

He said: “It would be very nice to have content-creation in our education syllabus. I’ve travelled to some countries in the world and I figured that Nigerians are some of the most creative people I’ve ever come across. This is all without proper education on content creation so if we are this good now, there’s no limit to how much better we can be. We’re blessed with creativity and I look forward to seeing content creation included in the education syllabus.

Fizzyfrosh noted that his biggest source of inspiration while creating content is himself. “I just like to live my life and bring my random thoughts and ideas to life for the world to enjoy.”

On how he hopes to cope in the ever-competitive content creative industry, he said: “At the moment, my only serious competition is myself. I’m not putting too much pressure on myself and I’m only looking to outdo myself and keep growing at my own pace. Everyone has a unique race to run and I wish them the best of luck in their respective races. There’s enough room in the sky for all birds to fly and together we’ll all win”.

Sharing how he balanced all his talents during his school days, the all-around entertainer said “Combining all these talents and school was really tough. Thankfully I’m done with school, so I have more time to do the things I love. Music, content creation and traveling. It’s never easy combining all these talents but I’m blessed and expressing myself through each of them is a major source of joy for me.”
