Inspired by the decade of golden music from the 60s, 70s, and 80s, single malt whisky, The Balvenie, on May 6 and 13, 2022 hosted various personalities from different walks of life to enjoyable and delightful evenings at Grey Matter Social and The Vibes Lagos respectively.

These perfect locations presented an outstanding and high-energy ambience with varieties of attractions to entertain guests who keyed into the theme The Balvenie Throwback Shindig and The Balvenie Makers Assemble respectively.

The Balvenie Nigeria set the tone with a flare of sophistication and quality connection with the unique events that had the presence of Munachi Abii, Samuel and Bisola Otigba, Osee and Ozee Mbadiwe, Uti Nwachukwu, Okey Bakassi, Tega Oghejobo of Mavin Records, amongst other captains of industries and notable personalities.

These guests were treated to the smooth taste of The Balvenie whisky on arrival and welcomed by beautiful gold-clad ladies and event paparazzi, whilst being entertained by lined-up activities from fire performances to aerialists and even samba dancers who kept the teeming audience on their toes with stellar performances night long.

There were blasts of nostalgic throwback songs by the Superstar DJs, DJ Humility and DJ Jimmy Jatt respectively, and featured appearances from Guest artists, including Veteran Nigerian Dance Hall singer Daddy Showkey and an exceptional performance from the Afrobeat Icon, Wande Coal as well as Superstar MC, Naeto C that left guests singing and dancing with glee.
