With the debut of their vibrant new music video “SPEND IT” on TVC Nigeria, father-son creative duo Maribased1 and Mr. Benjamin, the minds behind BJ&J ENT, take the latest step in their journey to spread Seattle music worldwide. Hailing from the United States’ Pacific Northwest, Maribased1 has garnered national and international acclaim for his unique hip hop stylings and his dynamic presence in the genre.

This release, currently at #33 on iTunes charts, marks a historic step for the Seattle music scene, as previous debuts of “SPEND IT” on networks like the MTV, BET, and MITV channels secured Mr. Benjamin and Maribased1 as the first in Seattle music to achieve national video airplay — and now, their work stretches internationally. With rich, flashing images of neon gentleman’s clubs, vibrant motorbikes, and high-stakes poker games, BJ&J ENT continues to bring cutting-edge visuals to the Seattle music scene and beyond. “SPEND IT” marks their latest collaboration with PNW media house Artistic Outlet Media, who have partnered with the artists many times to produce cinematic visuals on “SCORIN,” “48 RATCHET,” and most notably the track “TALK TALK TALK” featuring award-winning Nigerian artist Yung6ix.

“SPEND IT,” produced by DJFunkDaddy, combines the fresh sounds of Maribased1 that fans keep coming back for, a new verse from Mr. Benjamin himself, and featured artist E-Silent raking in his own winnings at the poker table as the story unfolds. The track continues to blow up radio stations worldwide, playing on City FM, Naija FM, Beat FM, and more. Fans can download and stream the track on CROWDED, SPOTIFY, AUDIOMACK, BOOMPLAY, and ITUNES, among other platforms.

The iconic father-son duo continues to make waves in America and beyond, eagerly anticipating their next video premiere and the chance to spread their message: SEATTLE MUSIC IS REAL; THIS AIN’T A GAME, IT’S A MOVEMENT. You can tune in to Seattle Music is Real radio, every Thursday @ 5pm and Saturdays @ 9pm PST, only on eswayradio. Check out BJ&J’s video show S.M.I.R.E.D. on FAMM TV NETWORK on Apple Music Box, Thursday – Sunday @ 4pm and 7pm PST. Meanwhile, the video would soon be premiered on MTV Base, it was gathered.
