Nigerian artiste, Clement-Ebere P also known as Klent Maidas has named Lil Wayne, Olamide, Wande Coal, Ty Dolla sign, Tekno amongst other artistes, as his biggest influence as a musician.

The 27-year-old Enugu State Born artiste who grew up in Lagos, noted that the likes of Wande Coal and Olamide played a crucial role in his decision to go into music as he sees them as role models.

“There’s something about these icons that influences my music. I love them and hope to work with them soon,” he said.

“The role they play in the music industry can not be overemphasised. Wande Coal has the voice and versatility, while Olamide on the other hand has been a great support to a lot of upcoming artistes. The same applies to Lil Wayne, Ty Dolla sign and Tekno.”

Klent Maidas rose to recognition in 2019 when he released ‘ZOMBIE’, which charted at No1 on Boomplay in the country for a week. His release of ‘Shayo’ also further cemented his existence in the music scene amongst other groundbreaking achievements. He is best known for his versatile unique style.
