According to a press release, the company launched the program two years ago as a way to allow banks to focus on core banking operations while technological platform providers drive their ATM business.

CWG Plc, a provider of hardware managed services and outsourcing, has signed deals with three undisclosed financial institutions for its ATM as a service concept.
According to a press release, the company launched the program two years ago as a way to allow banks to focus on core banking operations while technological platform providers drive their ATM business.

The new agreements — with a tier one bank, a commercial bank, and a microfinance bank — are a sign that the AaaS concept is gaining traction, the company said.“The concept is sure to be adopted by even more financial institutions,” Adeshile Adekanbi, CWG product manager for ATM and POS in Nigeria, said in the release.“The value-added services integrated into the AaaS platforms is sure to drive usage and overall satisfaction to all concerned stakeholders.”
