In view of the following, the man who must take over from Governor Uduagha must be a man who knows the nitty-gritty of what it takes to govern a state like Delta State. Dr Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa has been a man with vast experience and knowledge in the political gambits having served at various positions in the previous dispensations. As a onetime Secretary to the State Government (SSG) of Delta State, it is clear that he will not be a stranger in Government House Asaba come April 11, 2015 governorship polls. Therefore, there is no fear that Senator Dr Arthur Okowa is the right candidate for the seat. In a democratic dispensation every person can aspire to any political position if qualified to do so as enshrined in our 1999 constitution as amended and also if he has fulfilled all requirements of the Electoral laws as outlined by INEC.
