The Proprietress, Christ Our Banner International School (COBIS), Mrs. Christy Ada Omoijiade has tasked education managers to be creative in their teaching, so as to equip pupils with emerging new skills, especially in science and technology.

Speaking at the 10th anniversary and graduation ceremony of the school at Owode, Lagos, Omoijiade appreciated the parents and guardians for their support over the years.

She said: “COBIS provides a solid educational foundation for children. Our pupils have the freedom of evolving into who they are created to be- love, have respect for every child and godly value, for all –round development.

“We have qualified, trained and professional teachers, with passion and love for children and a conducive atmosphere for learning,” she stated.
By imbibing sound culture and integrity, Omoijiade said COBIS pupils are trained to stand head on with any of their contemporaries anywhere in the world.

Miss.Felicia Owolo, a former teacher in the school, said they taught the children using the Montessori curriculum, with modern educational toys to enhance learning.

Owolo also appreciated the proprietress for her efforts, and parents who have been with the school for the past decade.

The Head of School, Mrs. Miriam Philip, said: “Over the years, we have built a culture of excellence and had fantastic academic results. We are a school that provides many opportunities for students to showcase their talents.

“We are training our students to be global leaders, our guiding principles are confidence, godly character and culture.” Phillip said COBIS has facilities for pre-school, nursery and primary schools. A parent, Mrs. Precious Uche, whose three children attended COBIS, commended the school management for laying a solid foundation for her wards.
