Feedback section included in UNIZIK’s student app
Student of Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK), Awka, Anambra State have lauded the management of the institution for including an open comment section as part of the Student App, which will henceforth allow the students to participate in the tutelage process of the school.
The feedback section, which consists of course and lecturer review, is specifically for the students, and it will enable them to critique how well a lecturer teaches a course in the most comprehensible medium.
The course/lecturer evaluation section comprises of boxes to enter the name of the lecturer and the course, followed by questions from number one to 20, as well as five stars beneath each, which the App users are to tap as response. The stars, therefore, rates the lecturer’s performance.
The App offers other activities like fee payment options, course registration and results checking tabs. The system is set to introduce the thumbprint feature for lecture attendance. Students will not have to wait any longer to get their names ticked present at the end of lectures.
Amidst these advancements, the administration has planned to implement the “no fee, no lecture” policy. Although, this policy will take effect in the 2019/2020 academic session the students have frowned at this new development.
