Group, varsity collaborate on leadership, entrepreneurial skills
The Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPM), Ogun State branch, has partnered with Redeemers University, Ede, to explore avenues for career development, foster entrepreneurial skills and groom the nation’s future leaders.
The group made the commitment during a courtesy visit to the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Shadrach Akindele, in his office. The discussions underscored the shared commitment of all parties to equip students with the necessary tools and resources to thrive in today’s competitive landscape.
The outcome of the meeting was met with optimism, as Akindele affirmed the institution’s readiness to collaborate by agreeing to host a two-day professional development seminar in partnership with CIPM.
The seminar aims to provide students with practical insights and guidance to navigate the complexities of the job market and emerge as competent professionals in their respective fields.
Akindele expressed willingness to explore the offer extended by CIPM regarding the admission of university leadership into the institute, recognising the potential benefits of such a partnership in fostering mutual growth and development.
