According to Okorocha, the project, which is expected to be completed within three months, would be the fastest in the state.Okorocha who used the occasion to render account of his stewardship in the sector said about 455 primary school blocks had been built across the state since he assumed office in 2011, adding that the school enrolment has increased from 200,000 to over 800, 000 as a result of the free education policy of his administration.

He said the state government constructed rural roads measuring over 1,000 kilometers, while Information Communication Technology (ICT) projects were initiated in all the schools. “You will agree with me that the rescue mission in Imo State has impacted on the lives of the people in seven years. As I bow out next year, I want to assure you that this government will exit very strong.”
