McPherson University seeks collaboration with UI in nursing, others
The Vice-Chancellor of McPherson University (McU), Prof Francis Igbasan, has expressed his administration’s readiness to partner with the University of Ibadan (UI) following its track records of excellence in the last 73 years.
Igbasan, who disclosed this during a courtesy visit to the institution’s vice-chancellor, Prof Kayode Adebowale, in his office, said McPherson University would appreciate a partnership that helps in further exposing its nursing students. Igbasan eulogised the VC for his determination and commitment to academic excellence.
On his part, Adebowale thanked Igbasan for the initiative, which he described as very noble and welcoming. Igbasan, who assumed office a few weeks ago, said his goal was to expand the frontiers of learning and position McU among global institutions.
He said: “We are ready to partner with great universities like UI in important disciplines like Nursing Science. My administration is running with a grand vision of repositioning McU as one of the best.”
Igbasan also paid a visit to the Provost and Deputy Provost of the College of Medicine and described the visit’s outcome as “very positive.”
