NIEPA DG, promises solutiowns to problems in tertiary institutions
Newly appointed Director General of the National Institute for Educational Planning and Administration (NIEPA) Ondo State, Prof. Lillian Imuetinyan Salami, has pledged to bring her wealth of experience as an international scholar to bear in assisting to solve educational problems that have bedevilled tertiary institutions in the country.
Salami who spoke recently while being welcomed to the institution by management and staff members, also took a tour of the various departments and units of the institution.
At a well-attended session, the former acting director, Dr. Anselm Chidi Njoku, reiterated management and staff resolve to cooperate wholeheartedly with the new helmsman in her new assignment.
Salami is the former Dean, Faculty of Education, and a member of the Governing Council of University of Benin. She holds a B.Sc. in Home Economics and M.Sc. Nutrition from Fargo, USA; Ph.D. Human Nutrition, from Nsukka, PGDE from UNIBEN, Nigeria and a postdoctoral from Vanderbijlpark, South Africa, among others.
