Oloyede Michael emerges FUNAAB’s SUG president


Comrade Michael Oloyede, popularly known as Proverbial, has emerged the newly elected Student Union Government (SUG) President of the Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta (FUNAAB), with 1556 votes, defeating his closest rival, Comrade Ogunyale Isaac, popularly known as Otunba, who polled 1022 votes.

The Students Electoral Committee of the Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta (FUNAAB), while announcing the results of the SUG election conducted in the university campus last month, said the election was peaceful as the exercise went on smoothly.

The other presidential candidate, Comrade Adams Olanrewaju popularly known as Adams, was disqualified a day to the elections in a controversial circumstances.

While Oshinberu Aminat Opeyemi (smileys), won the vice president position, Odekunle Jamaldeen (longman), emerged as the general secretary; Tijani Habeebbullah (kennyology), won the assistant general secretary position; Ajayi Olushola (AJsocial) emerged as the social director; Imran Ibrahim (Eminem) is the director of sport and Ayansiji Enoch (super), the director of finance.
