Take a virtual tour of one of the UK’s top universities ahead of applying for your degree
Coventry University has opened its virtual doors for aspiring undergraduate and postgraduate students looking to begin their studies in 2020/21.
Ranked top 15 in The Guardian for five years running (Guardian University Guide 2016-2020), the university puts employability at the centre of all its degrees, providing thousands of students with direct links to industry and preparing them for a global career.
Despite these challenging times, Coventry University is committed to providing all students with an exceptional learning experience and are holding a series of Virtual Open Days for interested persons to find out more. They are accepting applications for their September 2020 and January 2021 intakes and doing everything possible to help students to begin their studies.
The university’s TEF Gold-standard teaching has continued to be delivered online by skilled and experienced staff, with Coventry being the only UK institution to welcome new students in May through an entirely online experience. They expect to safely reopen campus for face-to-face learning as soon as national guidelines make it possible to do so, so new applicants should rest assured they will gain the fullest possible experience.
Oluwafunbi Ogunrin, a student of Coventry Law School, said: “The teaching support is fantastic and there are lots of career-enhancing opportunities. Through one of my lecturers, I found out about and gained valuable volunteering experience with the Coventry Law Centre Legal Clinic on immigration cases. I have gained a clearer understanding on how to read and get the best information out of a case.”
Ebiakpo Shantel Olodiama is studying for a postgraduate degree in International Human Resource Management. She said: “I chose to study with Coventry University for the opportunity to obtain an international degree from a university ranked as one of the top modern universities in the UK.
“I love how my course modules are relatable to real professional situations. I believe everything I have learned at Coventry University will serve as a positive catalyst in developing a thriving career in human resource management in the corporate, governmental and non-governmental sectors globally.”
As a student of Coventry University, you will be a part of an institution that has gone above and beyond during these challenging times to support the fight against COVID-19. Medical staff and students have volunteered to help carry out tests for the National Health Service and hundreds of nursing and paramedic students have been working on the front lines.
