Anambra State Governor, Chukwuma Soludo, has underscored the critical role teachers play in moulding future leaders and shaping society, particularly in the context of nation-building.
Speaking at the World Teachers’ Day celebration in Awka on Saturday, Soludo highlighted the need to value, respect, and honour the contributions of educators.
“Teachers hold the key to the bridge of education, which serves as our pathway to the future.
“We owe them tremendous gratitude for their tireless and selfless service,” Soludo remarked.
He commended Anambra’s top educational performance and reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to prioritizing education.
The governor praised teachers for their resilience, dedication, and innovative teaching methods, encouraging them to exemplify the change they wish to bring about.
Chika Chukwudozie, Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT), expressed gratitude to Soludo for his unwavering support for the education sector. (NAN)
