Vega, Orange Academy partner to provide training on strategic brand leadership
Africa’s first practical school of integrated brand experience and idea management, Orange Academy, in collaboration with Vega School, South Africa has concluded plans to hold a five-day, practical workshop on strategic models and tools of meaningful brand building.
The spokesperson for the academy, Femi Odukoya said Vega School is a brand of The Independent Institute of Education (IIE) and offers qualifications in design, brand and business studies. He said the partnership would present employees with the opportunity to learn, imbibe and apply pragmatic leadership culture when challenged to provide their organisation with practical solutions that work.
Participants at the workshop scheduled to hold between May 20 and 24 in South Africa at IIE will have the opportunity to experience the learning environment at Vega School.“It is in line with our aim to re-engineer employees’ school of thought and attitude to work that we have partnered with Vega School to provide a unique learning experience with some of the finest workshop facilitators that Africa offers.
Leading the team of facilitators at the workshop are Dr. Carla Enslin, Thys de Beer and Mike Perk. “Dr. Enslin is a founding member of Vega School and serves as its head of strategy and new business development while Thys de Beer is a senior lecturer and supervisor to third year- and post-graduate students in the fields brand strategy and innovation and business management, and is also the manager for academic projects and collaborations at the IIE Vega School. “While Perk is the CEO of WWC, a people-focused digital transformation advisory. Mike is also a founding partner in Heavy Chef, an inspiration platform for innovators and leaders in the digital space.
