Yabatech retains number one in polytechnic ranking for third year

Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH) has, for the third time, been ranked as number one polytechnic in Nigeria by Webometric ranking released in January 2022.

The ranking is released every six months. Since January 2021, YABATECH has ranked first among polytechnics. In a statement by its media relations officer, Felix Alade, YABATECH is the first institution in the polytechnic sector to achieve this feat.

Alade said: “Webometrics ranking is based on web contents impact, top-cited researchers and papers published on research and publication platforms online.

He added that the school has been able to implement strategies to improve its ranking through increase in the quantity and quality of its web content.
