KIA expands local assembly plant

KIA Motors Nigeria has expanded its local vehicle assembly plant, demonstrating the company’s commitment to boosting local manufacturing capacity, leveraging technology and contributing to the growth of the Nigerian economy.

The local assembly plant, which has been in operation for several years with cutting-edge technology, has played a crucial role in providing employment opportunities, developing local skills and increasing the availability of affordable and reliable vehicles in Nigeria.

In addition to the expansion, KIA Motors has introduced a booking option for its luxury electric cars, such as the EV5 and EV9, with the CNG cars and buses as part of its ongoing effort to continue to lead the charge for greener energy and sustainability in Nigeria.

According to the Marketing Manager of KIA Motors, Omolade Akinyode, “Our customers are now more aware of the multiple personal and social benefits of having an electric or a CNG car. State Governors and even corporate organisations are also making the right moves now, and we are available to assist them in making the best automobile decisions.

“Our luxury electric cars are designed to provide a seamless driving experience, with advanced features such as zero emissions, fast charging, and a spacious interior perfect for environmentally conscious individuals and organisations seeking to reduce their carbon footprints.

“Also, our CNG cars and buses are safe and cost-effective. They are designed to be less strenuous on the engine, giving it a longer lifespan, and the essence is to reduce dependence on fossil fuels and enhance energy independence.”

Dedicated to providing Nigerians with an extensive range of vehicles which cater to diverse customer needs, from stylish and feature-packed Sedans to rugged and dependable luxury SUVs, Kia Motors Nigeria is a leading automobile company in Nigeria pioneering local vehicle assembly, electric cars, and CNG buses.
