Imo indigenes abroad pledge support for Okorocha


OKOROCHA-OKIMO State indigenes in the United States of America under tha egis of Imo Indigenes in the United States of America Inc, have resolved to give their total support to the Imo State Governor and standard bearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC), CHIEF Rochas Okorocha, and his deputy, Prince Eze Madumere, in their re-election bid in April 11 polls.

In a statement issued Sunday evening after their meeting in the U.S., signed by the group’s chairman, chief Okey Amuzie and Secretary, Sir Charles Onyejiaka made available to The Guardian they noted that they were satisfied that the Imo State had been moving steadily well in more than three years ago in terms of provision of infrastructural facilities with measurable economic growth, including the free education programme for Imo and non Imo indigenes.
