The Truth gets new editorial board

THE leadership of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat Nigeria has inaugurated the new Editorial Board for the First Weekly Muslim Newspaper in Nigeria – The Truth Newspaper.

The Editorial Board consist of seasoned Journalists, scholars and writers drawn from different parts of Nigeria. They are Brother Matepo, Chairman, Dr, Abdul Ganiy Adiamo, Editor, Dr Saeed Timehin, Waseem Nadeem, Qasim Adams, Hafiz Bello, Uncle Taoheed Shoboyede, Ustaz Jamil, Mrs Aisha Maishanu, Mrs Taofikat Fagbolade and Mrs Dikko is the Deputy Editor.

The Amir of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat, Dr Mashuud Fasola charged the board members to raised the bar and uplift the status of the Islamic newspapers as the true voice of the Muslims. He promised to inject more funds into the production of the newspaper.

The newspaper established in 1951 by the Ahmadiyya Muslim group at inception till the late 1980s has remained the only Islamic newspaper with focus  commentary on  some verses the Holy Quran, Hadith, Friday Jumat service lectures and news on Islamic events across Nigeria and the world. 

  The National Secretary, Publications and Media Relations, Qasim Akinreti, the Secretary General, Brother Abass Iromini and The Missionary- in- Charge , Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat, Nigeria attended the  inauguration.
