Jonathan visits Aba, Owerri tomorrow

While commending Orji for distinguishing himself in office by his many achievements, Archbishop Eberechukwu said that his association has not been carried along in government activities especially on the President’s visits and pleaded with the governor to redress the situation.

JONA-24-1PRESIDENT Goodluck Jonathan is scheduled to pay a one-day visit to Aba, Abia State and Owerri, Imo State, tomorrow, March 24, 2015.

At Aba, he will inspect the Alaoji Independent Power Plant being built by the Federal Government and the Osisioma Power Plant being undertaken by Prof. Barth Nnaji’s-led Geometric Power Limited.

Abia State Governor Theodore Orji, who disclosed this when he received at the Government House in Umuahia the Chairman of South-East Zone of Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Archbishop David Eberechukwu, said that President Jonathan would hold an interactive meeting with Abians at the Aba Sports Stadium and also address a town hall meeting at Owerri, Imo State, the same day.

Orji, who said that his administration has had excellent relationship with the CAN and churches in the state, said that he had reciprocated this to the churches by returning the secondary schools owned by them while those of primary schools will follow soon.
