NCP accuses Lagos govt of misgovernance
THE Lagos State National Conscience Party (NCP) governorship candidate, Ayodele Akele, has accused officials of the ruling party in the state, the All Progressives Congress (APC) of living in luxury at the expense of taxpayers even after expiration of their tenure in office, with particular reference to Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Mr. Adeyemi Ikuforiji.
He stated this during a press conference at the party’s Lagos headquarters.
He said while Tinubu and others continue to enjoy huge retirement benefits, pension payment to retired civil servants in the state still remains as low as N2,000 monthly after 35 years of meritorious service.
The NCP urged the people to vote the party for good governance and selfless service in the state.
