Hayat Kimya Nigeria Limited, a subsidiary of the global fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) company Hayat, has announced the appointment of Motayo Latunji as the new Country Manager for Nigeria.

Latunji becomes the first indigenous Nigerian to assume this leadership role within the global company structure.

In his new position, Latunji will be responsible for Hayat country business in Nigeria and oversee the day-to-day operations of the business.

He will also be responsible for driving the company’s growth and expansion objectives, as well as strengthening its market position.

His appointment comes after a successful tenure as the Sales Director for Hayat Nigeria and subsequently West Africa, a role he held since May 2016. Before joining Hayat, Motayo boasted an impressive 21-year career in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry, having worked with other reputable companies.

Expressing his enthusiasm about the new role, Latunji said: “I am excited to be entrusted with the responsibility of leading Hayat business in Nigeria. This shows the company’s commitment to developing local talent and fostering an inclusive work environment. I look forward to working closely with the talented team of Hayat Nigeria to move our company to greater heights.
