The founder and CEO of Salpha Energy, Sandra Chukwudozie has urged Nigeria’s president elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to prioritize Agriculture when he assumes office.

Chuckwudozie, in a congratulatory statement urged Tinubu to give utmost priority to the agricultural sector.

She noted that agriculture is the backbone of Nigeria’s economy hence it should be a major priority to the incoming government.

She said: “In my opinion, the next President of Nigeria should give utmost priority to the agricultural sector. Agriculture is the backbone of Nigeria’s economy, employing over 70% of the population and contributing significantly to the country’s GDP.”

Going further, Sandra who recently appeared in Forbes 30 under 30 noted that food security can be boosted if the incoming government invest and promote policies that’s support farmers.

“By investing in agriculture and promoting policies that support farmers and agribusinesses, the next President can help to boost food security, reduce poverty, and create jobs.”
