ICBAM to honour Ogunsan with fellowship award

… appoints him as Director
The Institute of Corporate and Business Affairs Management (ICBAM), Nigeria, has nominated the Chairman of Executive Group and Board Member, Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF), Dr Ayo Ogunsan, for an Honorary Fellowship Merit award, while also appointing him as Director, Strategic Partnership/Inter Governmental Affairs, of the Institute.

In a recent letter addressed to Ogunsan, signed by the registrar, Charles Bakare, the institute said it has only identified Ogunsan as a public figure, with an impeccable character, sterling performance and an exemplary leadership style.

“I am very delighted to inform you that you have been nominated for the 2021 Honourary Fellowship Merit Award on Philosophy of Excellence and Personal Efficiency (PEPE) also as the Director, Strategic Partnership/Inter Governmental Affairs of the Institute based on the recommendation of the Governing Council/CWC of the Institute.

“The nomination is based on strong recommendations from Hon. Moshood A. Salvador, Chairman, Central Working Committee, Amb. Ibrahim Kazaure, Deputy National President, Prof. Cole Olusegun, Prof. (Mrs.) E. O. Adegbite, HOD, Department of Finance, UNILAG, DC Awe Michael Toyin, Deputy Comptroller Nigeria Customs Service/Institute’s National Vice President and Dr. Mrs. Remi Ojengbede.

“As a public figure, you have demonstrated a passionate dedication to your organizations, state and Nigeria economy in general, as a consummate business magnate, bridge-builder and detribalized leader. It is worthy of note that your exemplary leadership style and achievements are laudable, unparalleled and unquantifiable.

“Sir, in view of this and in recognition of your corporate and public life built on professionalism, responsibility, integrity, competence, accountability, managerial acumen and consistent stands in good governance, the polity and national life which are worthy, coupled with your leadership qualities and stabilizing national postures, the institute in her wisdom has nominated you for the position of Director, Strategic Partnership/Inter Governmental Affairs.

“The starting point of all achievements is the definition of purpose and great men are ordinary men with extraordinary determination, these sterling qualities in you, no doubt have spurred you to taking your profession to greater and enviable height in all ramifications with your charismatic leadership.

“A honorary merit award acknowledges that the recipients deserve to be recognized for their achievements and contributions to the society.
