Kogi State governor, Ahmed Usman Ododo, has appointed Idris Baba-Ango as the Amirul Hajj and leader of the Kogi State contingent to Saudi Arabia for the 2025 Hajj exercise.
This was contained in a statement signed by the Director of Administration, Kogi State Hajj Commission, Mansur Imam Muhammad.
Baba-Ango Idris is the administrative secretary council of Ulamau, Kogi State chapter.
He was a former executive secretary of the Kogi State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Lokoja.
