According to Billboard, Ariana Grande’s Thank U, Next has secured the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 albums chart for the week ending on Feb. 15th.

During its first week, the album earned 360,000 equivalent units in the United States with 116,000 from traditional album sales, and 228,000 from streaming equivalent albums the best of Grande’s career. “Thank U, Next” gives the pop star her fourth No. 1 overall and her second No. 1 in less than six months. Additionally, according to Billboard, the album had the biggest streaming week ever for a female artist’s album or a pop album.

Grande dropped Thank U, Next on February 8th and it opened at Number one less than six months after her album Sweetener topped the chart on September 1st, 2018. That period of five months and 22 days is the shortest duration between new No. 1s on the Billboard 200 for a woman since 1974 to 1975 when Olivia Newton-John landed two No. 1s with five months and three days between them.
