This year’s Chevron Festival Drama is The Engagement written by Sefi Atta.

One Language

One Language is scheduled to premiere at the festival finale on Saturday October 21st “One Language” will explore a dramatic entry of five people from each of the six countries that will represent six continents of the world. They will find themselves in an empty space. Though they do not understand their various languages, they come to share a bond through the power of music, dance, drama and other values like entertainment and respect of the national anthem.
Date: Saturday, October 21 to Sunday, October 22, 2017.
Venue: Federal Palace Hotel, 6 – 8 Ahmadu Bello Way, Lagos.
Time: 4 PM to 8 PM the following day.

Shift Lemme Faint!

‘Shift Lemme Faint!’ is a set of witty monologues written by some of Nigeria’s finest writers depicting life in Nigeria and adapted into a stage production. All these will be explored with brilliantly written dramatic monologues, infused with beautiful music & dance and interpreted by stellar actors: Beverly Naya “Wedding Party”, Akah Nnani “Banana Island Ghost”, Najite Dede “Ojos in the House”, Omoye Uzamere “Aduke Hotel”, and Daniel Effiong “Gidi Up”.
Date: Saturday, October 21 and Sunday, October 22, 2017.
Venue: Merit Hall, Maitama, Abuja.
