
The atmosphere was filled with joy and glamour, last weekend, as the Publisher of Street Journal Magazine, Mogaji Arisekola, gave out his daughter, Segilola Olasubulumi Arisekola to Samuel Osereme Aisabokhae.

The wedding ceremony, which took place at the Oriental Hotel, Lagos, had in attendance prominent figures and crème de la crème in the society, who joined the family in the celebration.
Guests were greeted by an atmosphere of elegance that promised an extraordinary experience. The lavish decorations transformed the Grand Ball Room, featuring intricate floral arrangements, shimmering lights, and exquisite table settings that reflected a grand vision of beauty and sophistication.
The traditional wedding and subsequent reception drew guests from all corners of the globe, with over 100 attendees flying in from diverse locations, including Dublin, the United States, and London.
As the evening unfolded, the event revealed itself to be a gathering of high-profile dignitaries and influential personalities from various sectors— business, media, politics, and social circles, such as the former Ondo State Governor, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko and his wife, Kemi, Senators Olubiyi Fadeyi and Gbenga Obadara, and publisher of Ovation Magazine, Basorun Dele Momodu. Other guests included Dr. Bisi Olatilo; former Managing Director, NNPC Shipping, Alhaji M.K. Ibrahim, and socialite Yomi Allen Odutola.
Adding to the royal ambiance were personalities like the Onitire of Ikate, Oba Lateef Adams, accompanied by his wife Olori Sekinat Elegushi. Representatives from the diplomatic community were also in attendance, including the Oyo-born State Chief of Protocol to President Bola Tinubu, Ambassador Victor Adekunle Adeleke.

The entertainment lineup was a highlight of the evening, with performances that resonated with cultural significance. Among the entertainers was the famous Yoruba chanter Sulaiman Ayilara Aremu, known as Ajobiewe. The Ayanyemi traditional drummers group from Ibadan also added to the vibrant atmosphere, infusing the event with rhythmic energy that inspired guests to dance and celebrate the joyous union.
As the night progressed, renowned musical artists took the stage, further enhancing the celebratory vibe. Performances by Laolu Gbenjo and fuji maestro Saheed Osupa, the dynamic Beejay Sax, and DJ Kulet brought the audience to their feet, creating an atmosphere filled with laughter, dancing, and exuberance that resonated throughout the ballroom.
Bride’s father, Arisekola, who expressed joy over the union, described his daughter as a responsible and hardworking lady. He wished the couple long life and fruitful years.
