The City I’m In… Abimbola Craig
Where’s home?
Lagos.
What projects are you working on?
Skinny Girl In Transit season 4, producing more shows for Ndani and the premiere of my first ever movie Isoken, a Jadesola Osiberu movie where I was the production manager and acted as well.
What advice would you give to a tourist?
Be opened minded, Lagos is beautiful. Also make sure you take a ride on our infamous napep.
Why are you here?
Because there is no place like home.
What do you like about Lagos?
The hustle and the fact that Lagos never sleeps. Even when you are sleeping, your mind is working. There is really no room for slacking in Lagos.
What do you dislike about Lagos?
The sense of entitlement. Everybody thinks the next man owes them something. Let’s not get started on the security men that want to park you for a fee on a road that doesn’t belong to them. I really don’t understand it? Who is in your local squad?
Haa! Too many amazing people, my SGIT family for sure, Bisola, Sharon, Timini, Ayoola….the list is endless.
What was the last tune you downloaded?
Pain Killer by Runtown and Sarkodie #JamofLife.
What shoes are you wearing today and why?
A pair of black flat slippers I got from Balogun market for N2,000, if you know me you know these slippers. Lol! Why? Comfort.
Best restaurant?
Hmmmnnn! I’m not a foodie but if I were to choose it will be 355 Restaurant for their amazing starters.
Where’s the party at?
Girl I wish I knew, lol, please invite me, I hardly turn up. *sigh*
What do you do for exercise around here?
I go to my gym, Fitness Central, five to six times a week and I do Zumba with Sandra in the evenings at Lekki Fun Turf.
How do you wind down?
I watch a lot of series and American reality TV aka ratchet TV *covers face* lol. I’m a music head so music also does it for me, thank God for Apple Music.
Who will you call if you get into trouble?
My mama *big smile*
What are you missing most?
*sigh* my dad.
