The family of Nigerian gospel singer and Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) pastor, Bolaji Olarewaju, popularly known as Big Bolaji or Big B, has announced his burial arrangements.
Big Bolaji passed away on Easter Saturday, April 19, at the age of 50 after a brief illness, leaving behind a powerful legacy in gospel music and Christian ministry.
According to his brother, gospel artiste and broadcaster Muyiwa Olarewaju, the funeral details were shared in an Instagram post on Thursday.
“In loving memory. Join us to celebrate the life and legacy of Bolaji Olarewaju (Big B), a true Christian whose voice touched souls and faith inspired millions,” the family wrote.
“Though his body rests eternally, his soul lives on. Let us honour his legendary life in worship, song, and prayer.”
The funeral events will begin on Monday, May 26, at Trinity House, Lagos, by 4 p.m. This will be followed by two gatherings in Ibadan , one on Tuesday, May 27, at Jogor Centre by 4 p.m., and a final event on Wednesday, May 28, at Jogor Centre by 10 a.m.
The family stated that these events will celebrate the life, ministry, and music of a man who dedicated his voice and gifts to glorifying God and inspiring generations of worshippers.
