Update: Mac Miller Might Have Predicted His Death

Mac Miller (real name Malcolm James McCormick), Ariana Grande’s ex is dead.

According to TMZ, the 26-year-old rapper died from substance abuse overdose.

Several sources have said that he had a cardiac arrest at his home in San Fernando Valley.

A statement from Miller’s family read,

Malcolm McCormick, known and adored by fans as Mac Miller, has tragically passed away at the age of 26. He was a bright light in this world for his family, friends and fans. Thank you for your prayers. Please respect our privacy. There are no further details as to the cause of his death at this time.

After Grande broke up with him in May, he was arrested for drunk-driving and struggled with sobriety.

Shortly after that, he dropped three surprise songs (Small Worlds, Down and Programs) which were allegedly about Grande.
