Nigerian music star, Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, appeared at the Edo State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal in Abuja on Wednesday, alongside Natasha Osawaru, a lawmaker in the Edo State House of Assembly.

Their appearance drew attention as the tribunal prepares to rule on a petition by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its candidate, Asuerinme Ighodalo, challenging the election of APC’s Governor Monday Okpebholo.

Osawaru, who represents Egor Constituency and serves as Deputy Majority Leader, was elected under the PDP.

2Baba’s presence with Osawaru has further stirred talk about their relationship, which gained attention after the singer separated from his wife, Annie Idibia, in January.

He was also senn in a video where he proposed to Osawaru in February.

Since then, the two have been seen at events together.

Osawaru recently updated her Instagram bio with the name “Idibia”, fuelling speculation about a possible secret marriage.

However, neither party has confirmed this.
