Controversial Nigerian crossdresser, Idris Okuneye, better known as Bobrisky, has retracted his claim of being arrested by immigration officers.

He said the post was nothing but an April Fool’s Day joke.

The drama started on Monday, April 1, after Bobrisky took to Instagram and wrote, “Guys, have just been arrested by immigration in Nigeria. I don’t know what I did o.”

The post caused panic online, with many assuming he was in serious trouble.

Shortly after, he made a U-turn and said it was all a prank.

Many fans didn’t find it funny. Some slammed him for using a sensitive issue to chase clout.

Others saw it as another round of his usual online cruise.
