The Aquafina Elite Model Look Nigeria team is thrilled to reveal the 24 finalist for the 2017 competition.

These young models will compete for the opportunity to live their dreams while following in the footsteps of international supermodels like Cindy Crawford & Gisele Bundchen, as well as Nigerian supermodels like Mayowa Nicholas, Victor Ndigwe & Davidson Obennebo whose journeys started with Aquafina Elite Model Look Nigeria.

The national casting for the 2017 Aquafina Elite Model Look Nigeria took place in Lagos on Saturday, August 26th, 2017 at the Eko Hotel And Suites with over 1000 young aspiring models in attendance. A total of 100 contestants were pre-selected and had their images sent to the Elite Management in Paris for final selection.

Last year’s winner Davidson Obennebo, went on to win the Elite Model Look world finale and is the first African to win in 33 years, making history as the first black model win the competition. When asked about future plans he talks about being hopeful to “one day becomes a successful black model.” Although he has already modelled in Paris Fashion Week and Milan with the likes of Versace, Balmain and Givenchy, Davidson is still considered to be a new face in the industry. He also complains about not getting enough jobs in Nigeria.

Here are the finalists below
