The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has officially unveiled the new kit for the Super Falcons, describing it as “bold, fearless, and made for champions.”
The announcement was made in a post on the Federation’s official X handle (@thenff) on Wednesday, May 14, 2025.
The post was accompanied by striking photos of the newly designed jersey.
“New kit. Same pride,” the post read. “The @NGSuper_Falcons’ new jersey is here — bold, fearless, and made for champions.”
The green-and-white home kit features a wild leaf-pattern design with the word “Naija” stamped boldly across the chest. The away jersey comes in a more subdued deep green with a neon crest and swoosh, also featuring the “Naija” branding inside the collar.
As of the time of this report, the post has already garnered over 6,300 views, 295 likes, 71 reposts, and several excited reactions from fans.
The release comes just months ahead of major international tournaments where the Super Falcons are expected to compete. Football enthusiasts have praised the new design, calling it one of the boldest in recent years.
The Super Falcons, Nigeria’s women’s national team, remain Africa’s most successful women’s side, having won a record 11 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations titles. Their new jersey is expected to further boost morale and national pride as the team prepares for upcoming fixtures.
This new kit, designed by Nike, follows the global trend of using sportswear to showcase national identity and modern style.
While the NFF has yet to announce when the new kits will be available for public purchase, fans are already expressing interest in copping their own.
More details are expected in the coming days as excitement builds ahead of the Falcons’ next match.
