Taylor Swift Creates “Blank Space” On Social Media

Taylor Swift, American pop star, created a fan frenzy and speculation today by wiping all her social media accounts.

The “Blank Space” singer created her very own blank space by seemingly deleting all her posts from Instagram, Twitter, Tumblr and Facebook. Her official site also shows just a black screen.

Swiftie, as her fans are affectionately called, suspect it’s because of a new album or new music. They have used the trending topic “#TS6IsComing” to announce their anticipation for Swift’s sixth studio album. They also speculate that she is going to reinvent her image. Some believe that perhaps the artist has simply been hacked.

Her fifth studio album, 1989, sold a record 1.28 million copies during its first week of release in 2014. It went on to win the Grammy album of the year.

Swift largely dropped out of public view earlier this year after a highly publicized but short-lived 2016 summer fling with British actor Tom Hiddleston.

However, she was in the spotlight earlier in the week when she was awarded $1 in damages that she had sought after a federal jury in Denver found that David Mueller, a radio DJ had grabbed her bottom while posing for a photo with her in June 2013.

This has further fueled hopes for her followers that she’s been had at work on an album.
