Tonto Dikeh Talks About Domestic Violence, Her Foundation And Suing Churchill
Nollywood actress, singer and philanthropist Tonto Dikeh, in an interview with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu on Rubbin’ Minds, opened up about her foundation, the backlash that followed her breakup and domestic violence dispute with her husband Churchill Olakunle, and her upcoming projects.
When asked if she had any regrets on the interviews she gave and making her relationships known to the public, she declined, saying that she had made the decision not to speak of the issue anymore and that her responses do not change people’s opinions of her.
Dikeh revealed that she was in the process of suing her ex-husband, but did not disclose the charges.
She was glad she talked about her experiences with domestic violence because it made other victims of domestic violence speak out.
She, however, refused to speak more about her relationships, the exciting projects she’s working on and other aspects of her personal life.
The Tonto Dikeh Foundation, the actress stated, would be used in building a school for the less privileged and victims of violence.
