Your IPhone 8 Might Have A Manufacturing Defect. Here’s How To Fix It

It turns out that some iPhone 8 owners may have already noticed a small issue with their smartphones.

As was recently announced by Apple themselves, this “manufacturing defect” could cause random screen freezes, phones that restart on their own or not turn on at all.

If you are yet to observe any sort of problematic glitches with your iPhone 8, you can verify your status by simply plugging your phone’s serial number into a web form.

According to Apple:

“Affected units were sold between September 2017 and March 2018 in Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Macau, New Zealand, and the U.S.”

The tech giant is offering to repair all affected iPhone 8s for free by replacing its logic board.

To repair, take your damaged device to an authorised Apple repair centre or any Apple retail store.
