Turkish Airlines has relaunched flights to Libya’s second largest city, Benghazi, offering flights to 64 places on the continent.
This is with the resumption of operations to Benghazi from 14 January 2025.
Operation of the Benghazi flights with B737-78D aircraft provides three weekly frequencies on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays with operating flights to 352 destinations in 131countries.
Turkish Airlines boss, Bilal Ekşi, while reacting to the Benghazi flight resumption, expressed delight, saying the Turkish Airlines will continue its mission of connecting continents, this time in Benghazi, Libya’s second-largest city.
“We foresee that the strong investments in the region will further boost the continent’s tourism and trade potential. In line with evolving market conditions and increasing demand, we will continue to diversify the gateways that connect Africa to the rest of the world,” he said.
The management of the Turkish airlines said it would continue to expand its seamless connectivity through unmatched service delivery globally and new destinations.
