Adeoti to review policy on contract award, others

Besides, the party promised to review the current administration’s policy on award of contracts with a view to favouring local contractors, as a measure to boost economy and check capital flight.

Candidate of the party, Alhaji Moshood Adeoti, who addressed a rally at Ikirun in Ifelodun Local Government Area, said ADP would run an inclusive administration that would engender rapid development of the state and spread the democratic dividends.

On his party, he said his administration would run a democratized system that would not alienate members but bring both the party leadership and the government together to achieve ADP’s objectives.

Adeoti urged the citizens to collect their Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC), saying without it the people would not be able to effect the true changes expected to bring a new dawn in Osun on the day of the election.

He charged party supporters to sell the manifestoes of ADP to the citizens and to refrain from unlawful activities capable of tarnishing the image of the party.

According to him, the attack launched against supporters of the party while returning from a rally in Ilesa last week was aimed at discouraging people from embracing the good programmes the ADP has in stock for them.

A chieftain of the party and prominent leader in Osogbo, Senator Bayo Salami, said the people were tired of the current administration due to alleged misplaced priorities that had brought huge financial deficit to the state.

He described Akinbade as credible and had the capacity to turn Osun around.

A former Commissioner for Information, Sunday Akere, urged the citizens to use their electoral power to bail out the state from “oppression and recklessness.”
