The Artificial Intelligence Management & Finance Institute (AIMFIN), during its Executive Leadership Summit, conferred the distinguished title of Doctoral Fellow (Dr. FAIMFIN) on AI educator and communications strategist, Celestine Achi. The honour recognises his outstanding contributions to the advancement of Artificial Intelligence in business, finance, and management across Africa.
The event, which gathered scholars, innovators, and AI leaders from across the continent, served as a platform to celebrate trailblazers in the application of AI technologies to transformative sectors.
Dr. Achi received his certificate from the Director of Academics, AIMFIN, Prof. Tokunbo Akeredolu-Ale, in the presence of the institute’s Vice President, Prof. Constantine Imafidontongo, among other dignitaries.
Appreciating the recognition, Dr. Achi said: “This honour is not just a recognition of past work, it is a call to do more. I am deeply committed to democratizing AI knowledge, especially among Africa’s youth.”
Following the conferment, Dr. Achi announced plans to launch a Free AI Education Platform for Kids and a continent-wide AI Capacity-Building Program for
Secondary Schools. The initiative, which he calls “A Father’s Gift to the African Child,” aims to equip the next generation with future-ready skills and digital fluency.
