Ambode gives May 10 handover date, Ajimobi raises transition team

Lagos State Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode, has directed commissioners, special advisers, special assistants and personal assistants to submit their handover notes on May 10.

A circular issued by the Permanent Secretary, Cabinet Office, Adesina Odeyemi, exempted members and chief executives of statutory boards from the exercise.

The notice instructed the affected aides to lodge the documents with the above office.

Besides, Governor Abiola Ajimobi yesterday inaugurated a transition committee to plan the successful swearing-in of the incoming administration in Oyo State on May 29 this year.

Former Senate Deputy Chief Whip, Hosea Ayoola Agboola is among the 10-man panel ushering in the government of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governor-elect, Seyi Makinde.
