Worried by the high level of unemployment in the country, governors on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) have set up a committee to advice them on job creation

Speaking at the end of their meeting in Yola, Adamawa State, the governors on the aegis Progressive Governors Forum, said they were concerned over the situation and were prepared to do everything within their powers to create more jobs for the teeming Nigerian youths.

Chairman of the Forum, . Rochas Okorocha of Imo State, said the governors were concerned with the level of poverty in the country.

He said the forum had resolved to tackle the issue, adding, “to this end, a committee headed by Alhaji Abubakar Bagudu, Governor of Kebbi, has been set up to fashion out action plan.”

He said the forum had also resolved to meet on monthly basis to assess progress made and how to improve on it.
