Adefarasin, who said this at the 10th edition of popular gospel concert, The Experience, in Lagos, announced that the House on The Rock was also marking its 21st anniversary.
Some of the acts that ministered at the event included Don Moen, Fred Hammond, Frank Edwards, Donnie McClurkin, Hezekiah Walker, Kim Burrell, Jessica Reedy, Sonnie Badu, Chioma Jesus, Nathaniel Bassey, Sammie Okposo, Midnight Crew, Micah Stampley, Julius Nglass, Chee, Onos and the Lagos City Chorale among others
One of the attendees, who identified himself as Seun, said, “God has a great plan for Nigeria and He is sending His thoughts to Nigerians in different ways. Some people are called to the market place, others to the government, education, health, entertainment and hospitality sector. Together we can work our dream, believe tenaciously and work vigorously till we see our thoughts come to reality.”
He added that as citizens and Christians, there is a responsibility to identify what our individual purposes are, and if inspired by God, it can change the course of a man’s life and indeed this nation. He noted that it was this purpose that he came to tap from at the concert.
Another worshipper, who does not want her name in print, said: “We are all part of the big dream; in our little corners of influence, we should make this nation a desirable country in the world.”
Engineer Ntiense Ubon-Israel led the Thanksgiving prayer, while Dr. Kole Akinboboye moderated the intercessory prayers.
